Now in its 11th year, the Everett Women's Film Festival is a celebration of films by and about women.  If you love films, and especially independent films, this is your event.  Past festivals have featured documentary films on topics ranging from extreme marathons, to ballroom dancing, to historic architecture, and home funerals.  The festival is not just documentaries - animated shorts, and feature films are always included in this weekend of non-stop film screening.  The event is organized by an all-volunteer committee, dedicated to putting together a program with something for all (or at least most!) viewing tastes.  The Friday evening Gala, this year at The New Everett Theatre, provides new and seasoned festival attendees an opportunity to enjoy great food and discuss the featured films and filmakers.
